Shwapnil Shojib’s passion for music has been ingrained in him since childhood, fostered by a family that greatly valued and encouraged musical pursuits. This nurturing environment allowed him to embark on his musical journey under the guidance of his aunt, Lata. His versatility as an artist is evident as he effortlessly delves into various genres, but it is the music of Rabindranath Tagore that holds a special place in his heart, guiding his artistic voyage like a guiding star. He initially received training in classical vocals from his aunt Lutfunnahar Lata and further honed his skills under the tutelage of the renowned singer Ustad Ali Imam Chowdhuri in classical and Shugam Shangeet. He also completed a four-year diploma in music from Bangladesh Shilpokola Academy, Faridpur. His mastery of Rabindrasangeet flourished under the special guidance of the esteemed Rabindrasangeet singer, Srimati Rezwana Chowdhuri Banya. Additionally, he studied at Chhayanout, enriching his musical knowledge and skills.
Shwapnil Shojib’s musical journey has taken him across the globe, where he has performed in the United States, Australia, Canada, India, Morocco, Dubai, Brunei, Malaysia, Singapore, and Europe. In 2015, he became the first official entry from Bangladesh for the North American Bengali Conference (NABC). His first solo album, “THE TAGORE TREASURY,” released by G-Series Agniveena, soared to the top of music charts in leading stores across Bangladesh. Subsequently, he released several successful albums such as “Neel Otol,” “Bhanga Goray Rabindranath,” “Amar Mukti,” “Songs Offering,” and “Sunil Sagore,” among others.
